If you love what you do, you'll hold yourself to an incredibly high standard and take everything personally, because you care A LOT and you want to do the best you can, this is a blessing and a curse.
I've been feeling really out of touch with circus, partially because I've been injured for the last twelve months and partially because our industry doesn't currently exist. While talking to Sam about my frustrations at the start of the week, she pushed me to make something physical that was just for fun, no pressure, no goal to put it on stage, just getting back into making again.
